We have a client who is in crisis and in need of furniture-does anyone know where we could send her for assistance?

If you are a provider, you can send an email to United Way and they will place an ad in Monday's Peoria Journal Star in the Helping Hands section w/ the items you need. The deadline is noon on Wednesdays or the ad will get placed in the following Monday's PJS. Contact Beth Hardy or Gina Edwards at United Way for their email addresses: 674-5181. The ad will go under your name and phone number in order to keep confidentiality. Then, if a donor has furniture he/she will call you and together you can set up delivery. I hope that helps! -Toby
