-The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) meets the first Thursday of every month. On April 2nd a psychiatrist from the University of Illinois School of Medicine will be sharing and answering questions about adolescent mental health issues. The meeting on April 2nd will be held at the ICC North Campus- Cedar Hall Room 134 from 7 to 8 p.m.
-The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) unveiled a new free mobile app designed to help primary care and behavioral health providers integrate suicide prevention strategies into their practices and address suicide risk to their patients/clients. The name of the the app is SUICIDE SAFE and is free on all Android or 10S devices.
