The State of Illinois is investigating the provision of a High School Equivalency Diploma. This will provide a second option to the GED.
A change was recently made in the Peoria Promise Program. Students are now required to pay for classes and complete them successfully before being reimbursed. However, Pell Grants and other federal grants may be available to help with student costs up front.
