Any organizations that offer free bus passes in the area to a non-senior with no dependents? She's tried DHS and Salvation Army already. She's trying to find a job and it would make a big difference! Thanks

I am investigating. Does this person happen to be a caregiver in any way- like to an aging parent? The Central Illinois Agency on Aging may be able to help if that is the case. I have a call in now to them to find out if they could be a resource. Will follow up when I hear back.

Thanks, I don't think she has any dependents or cares for anyone though.

Friendship House? Township? Is she disabled?

I didn't realize Friendship House had bus passes. She is not disabled, just lost her job and fell on hard times. I'll ask FH. Thanks!

No luck on bus passes at Township or FH at this time. Anyone know of any other organizations that may offer them?
