Does SSI have a 5 year residency minimum like Medicaid?

That is a very good question and I have no idea. I hope someone can respond who has that knowledge. If I don't see a response on the forum, I will try to ask the question the next time I am at the Social Security office w/ a client.

Hey ladies, here is a link that discusses the specific non-citizen guidelines: www.socialsecurity.gov/pubs/EN-05-11051.pdfIt looks like in order for an LPR to be eligible they would have to have worked 40 quarters since they got here. Any quarters that their spouse or parent worked could count as well.
