I have a participant that has mold in her bedroom in her one bedroom apartment and it's been since last fall along with her bedroom leaking. She had converstions with the property manager (old and new) about it along with a young child on a nebulizer machine. Supposedly she was told that the maintenance person checked it out, another time she was told there are a lot of apartments that need fixed. Point, it sounds like it isn't being taken care of and she is now pregnant with another child in this atmosphere. Does anyone have direction for me to provide her on this matter?

Update, our lady did get her mold problem fixed yesterday. After I had posted the issue and before we had direction, I had her call a few places along with finding information online to report landlords. She ended up calling Code Enforcement and there were contractors at her apartment yesterday. She is now very excited and no longer worried about having to possible move. Thanks all.

This is fantastic news! Let us know if the landlord is causing any additional issues.

I will update you if there are more issues. From her story, the contractors were a bit surprised at how bad it was and the length of time she had been living in that condition. Thank you again.
